Secret Bunker

Visitors can explore the well-preserved site, which showcases the technology and strategies used during the Cold War, Scotland's Secret Bunker is located near Kingsbarns, and is a fascinating Cold War relic transformed into a museum. 

A staircase descends you down below the foundation of the the building above after which a long tunnel with a slow decline takes you further down into the main structure itself.

Quite spectacular how they managed to keep this relatively secret as this two-storey construction measures 24,000 square foot, the underground command centre built by the RAF in then1950’s is a 100-foot-deep underground  and was to serve as a regional government headquarters in the event of a nuclear attack. The bunker features various rooms, including a control room, a cinema, a cafe, and dormitories, offering visitors a glimpse into Cold War life and.

All the accessible areas accompanied by the audio sets that really create some extra valuable drama by entering the location number, the bunkers cafe is located in the depths and is left as it originally was, together with some wonders music from the respective eras.
