Deanston Distillery (Le Havre, wine warehouse)

In Outlander, Deanston Distillery was used as a filming location for the wine warehouse at the port of Le Havre, owned by Jared. It is here that Claire is notices that men are ridden with plague, costing Comte St Germain’s his wine cargo.

Deanston Distillery, a Highland single malt Scotch whisky distillery, is located in Doune, in a former cotton mill dating back to 1785. The distillery was opened in 1966 and is known for its traditional methods, non-chill filtration, and no added colouring. Deanston's whisky is produced using 100% Scottish barley and is characterized by its waxy, smooth flavour.
