Cambo House is protected as a category B listed building, and the grounds are included in the Inventory of Gardens and Designed Landscapes in Scotland, the national listing of historic gardens.
The walled garden and woodland gardens are open to the public year-round. The estate woodlands have a significant collection of snowdrops, including over 300 varieties of Galanthus species, that are accredited with Plant Heritage as a National Plant Collection. The Cambo’s cafe has a fantastic vegetarian based menu seating is both indoor and outdoor, with the latter having a sunny and sheltered aspect.
Cambo House perfectly is perfectly aligned with a visit to the Kingsbarns Distillery as they are both on the same estate, and a short drive away, alternatively a 15 minute walk through beautiful woodlands and across a burn is very rewarding.
"Beyond St Andrews, tip" if you are going to walk between Kingsbarns distillery and Cambo House, be mindful to wear proper walking shoes.
