Bannockburn & the Heritage Centre

The village is best known for the historic Battle of Bannockburn, which took place from June 23 to June 24, 1314. This battle was a pivotal event in the Wars of Scottish Independence, where the forces of Robert the Bruce, King of Scots, achieved a significant victory against the English army led by King Edward II.
