Bell Rock Lighthouse, is one of the oldest and most famous lighthouses in the world. Completed in 1811, it
was designed by the engineer Robert Stevenson to warn ships of the dangerous Bell Rock, which is submerged at high tide. The lighthouse is renowned for its innovative design and engineering, standing over 35 meters tall and built from granite blocks. It has operated continuously since its commissioning, guiding mariners safely through the treacherous waters of the Firth of Forth.

The lighthouse is not only a significant navigational aid but also a symbol of maritime heritage, recognised for its historical and architectural importance. Today, it remains an iconic landmark and a popular subject for photographers and historians
alike.
