One Day Wander

.page-id-3247

Overview

This tour is perfect for those who prefer not to wander to far from St Andrews. Ideal for those dropping off partners at Kingsbarns or Dumbarnie Links and seeking a nearby, shorter trip. Falkland Palace is simply special and perfect stop be it the start of the day, the middle or at the end.

There’s a wonderful selection of picturesque fishing villages to choose from, and if the sun is out an absolute must.
We have something from the days of the Cold War (1947 - 1991) in the Secret Bunker, worth visiting, especially if the weather was not inclement, the  underground bunker will surely keep you dry and warm.

A contemporary Whisky Distillery awaits your visit at Kingsbarns. The area is also abundant with historic castles and centuries-old homes, many of which feature beautiful gardens that are perfect for a leisurely walk while enjoying the unique Scottish air.

For lunch or towards the end of your tour, if you want to enjoy some fish and chips for lunch or supper then Anstruther Fish Bar is an absolute favourite destination for visitors, often eaten straight out of the paper sitting on a bench whilst overlooking this picturesque working harbour.
